I had the most delicious little surprise for lunch today from the Biryani Cart on 46th and 6th in midtown.
Imagine this: it tastes like Indian Food, but is rolled up like a taco in a fluffy, light, portable and wrapped buttery “tortilla” (kind of like naan, but not quite).
I got one spicy chicken and one lamb, all for a hot $5.00
More about the Kati Roll and one of my favorite midtown carts at Midtown Lunch.

This isn’t something we would generally post here, but good friends at So Good Blog turned our attention to this interesting news article:
Lil Jon, eloquently describes his feelings on wine in a phone interview with the AP, stating: “I’m not no ‘drink wine every day’ kind of dude…I’m not like an expert, so don’t ask me no questions … I just like the taste.”
Equally as eloquently, he also adds:
“My full name is Jonathan,” the Atlanta-based artist said. “The wine is more nature: I wanted to not just have a direct connection, but make it just a little bit more upscale than regular ‘Lil Jon.’ … This is not no ghetto Boone’s Farm; this is some real wine.”

Will red wine replace krunk juice as the preferred drink of the hood? only time will tell…

Just read in the Gothamist that rumors are afloat that Anytime might be on its way out. I’ve never actually eaten there and have stayed away based on the reviews in Free Williamsburg.
Can anyone confirm?
